Silversterchlausen is an ancient New Year’s celebration from Appenzell, Switzerland. Our performance in New Glarus is the only place outside of Switzerland where you can witness this ancient custom!

The Chläuse will begin at the Chalet Landhaus Inn at 2 PM, with stops at locations throughout New Glarus, yodeling and ringing bells.

The event is followed by an evening of Swiss music and entertainment starting at 6:00pm at Toffler's Pub and Grill (200 5th Avenue).
